University of Southern Indiana junior Austin Nolan and Drury University sophomore Claire McCune have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Runners of the Week in men’s and women’s cross country, respectively, it was announced by the Conference office on Tuesday.

Team Result:  1st/3 teams, 26 points, USI Stegemoller Classic

• Finished second overall in a field of 55 other runners with a 7,000-meter time of 21 minutes, 42 seconds
• Race held in warm conditions with heat index over 90 degrees
• Reigning GLVC Champion and Runner of the Year
• Earns first career GLVC Runner of the Week award
