University of Indianapolis sophomore running back Al McKeller, William Jewell College junior linebacker Antonio Wabanimkee, and Truman State University sophomore return specialist Lawrence Woods, have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

  • Became the first Bulldog and GLVC standout to return three kickoffs for a touchdown in a season when he went 89 yards to tie Saturday’s game against McKendree at 38-38
  • Averaged 44.6 yards on five kickoff returns with 89, 54, and 30 yards being his final three returns
  • His 223 return yards was second all-time and just 10 yards shy of the school record, and three yards short of the GLVC single-game record of 226 by Spencer Elrod of Missouri S&T
  • Notched his fourth career return, matching the career Truman record held by Mike Laususe (1974-77) and the GLVC record held by William Jewell’s Anthony Mullins (2013-16)
  • Added a nine-yard reception in his debut on the offensive side of the ball
  • Earns his second career Special Teams Player of the Week award (9/24/18)
