Missouri S&T senior quarterback Tyler Swart and senior return specialist Roderick Chapman, as well as Truman State University junior defensive end Sam Reeves, have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

- Notched 2.5 tackles for loss to become Truman’s career leader with 42.5 over three years
- Recorded two of the team’s five sacks in the win, which leaves him within two of the 1987 career record of 32 held by Ernie Myerson
- Guided a Bulldog unit that limited Lincoln to just 31 total yards in the first half, 43 through three quarters, and 213 for the game, after allowing 153 over three long plays in the fourth quarter
- Earns his second career Defensive Player of the Week award (11/7/16)
