McKendree University senior quarterback Reece Metcalf and Missouri S&T senior linebacker Bo Brooks and senior return specialist/wide receiver Braxton Graham have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Major:  Petroleum Engineering
Team Result: 45-7 home win vs. Lincoln

 

• Recorded 10 tackles, including seven solo stops, and posted three tackles for loss and a forced fumble
• Forced fumble came on a quarterback sack, one of a season-high seven recorded by S&T
• Led a Miner defense that held Lincoln to 202 yards of total offense (24 net rushing yards) and to just 113 total yards after taking the lead for good early in the second quarter
• Earns his second career Defensive Player of the Week award (9/24/18)
• Last Missouri S&T Defensive Player of the Week:  Ryan Kirkendall (10/22/18)
