University of Indianapolis sophomore running back Al McKeller and sophomore wideout and punt returner Daveon Bell, along with Quincy University senior linebacker Cody Leonard, have been named the season’s final Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

  • Broke GLVC record for tackles in a game with 24 stops, including 11 solo tackles
  • Registered 3.0 tackles-for-loss, including one sack
  • Shattered the previous GLVC record for single-season tackles (145, A.J. Wentland, MCK, 2016) with 168
  • Finished the season ranked first in NCAA Division II with 14.4 tackles per game, and second overall with 7.7 solo stops each time out
  • Earns his third career Defensive Player of the Week award (9/19/16, 9/18/17, 11/12/18)
