University of Indianapolis sophomore running back Al McKeller and sophomore wideout and punt returner Daveon Bell, along with Quincy University senior linebacker Cody Leonard, have been named the season’s final Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

  • Racked up a career-high 209 rushing yards on 22 carries, averaging 9.5 yards per attempt
  • Scored a pair of lengthy touchdowns (46 and 34 yards)
  • Finished the regular season as GLVC’s leading rusher, compiling 1,093 yards in just 10 games
  • Became only fourth player in program history to record back-to-back 1,000 rushing-yard seasons
  • Earns his third career Offensive Player of the Week award (9/4/17, 10/8/18)
