Lewis University sophomore distance runner John Partee and Maryville University junior heptathlete Drew Kowalski have been named the first Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the 2018-19 season, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday.

Team Competition:  4^th, 79.50 points, St. Ambrose Frigid Bee Invite

• Earned a six-second victory over his teammate in the 800 meters in 1 minute, 53.97 seconds
• Time converts to 1:52.37 on the national list
• Effort is currently fastest in the GLVC and NCAA Division II this year
• First career GLVC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor
• Last Lewis Indoor Track Athlete of the Week: Sergio Miranda (2/17/16)
