Lewis University junior sprinter Allie Heinzer and Missouri S&T senior multi-event specialist Camille Baker have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday.

Allie Heinzer, Lewis
Jr., Sprints, Sugar Grove, Illinois
Major:  Special/Elementary Education
Team Competition:  6th/25, 27 points at Grand Valley State Holiday Open

 
  • Won the 200 meters with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 24.37 seconds
  • Time ranks first in the GLVC and second in NCAA Division II
  • Also placed third in the 400 meters with a provisional time of 55.91, good for first in the GLVC and seventh nationally
  • Earns fourth career GLVC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor (2/22/17, 2/13/18, 2/20/18, 12/11/18)
