University of Illinois Springfield senior guard Cole Harper has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

• Registered a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds while helping UIS to its largest point total of the season in a 30-point win
• Finished 7-of-9 (.778) from the floor, including 3-of-3 from the perimeter and 2-of-2 from the free-throw line
• Helped UIS to a 21-point lead at halftime with nine points and eight rebounds in first 20 minutes
• Earns his first career Player of the Week award
