University of Indianapolis sophomore distance runner Lauren Bailey and Bellarmine University senior jumper Yashira Rhymer-Stuart have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday.

  • Improved her NCAA Division II automatic qualifying mark with a high jump of 1.8 meters
  • Effort broke her own school record, which was set in December at 1.76 meters
  • Mark currently ranks first in NCAA Division II and is tied for fifth among all collegiate marks this season
  • Third career GLVC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor (2/8/17, 1/16/18)
