University of Indianapolis senior guard CJ Hardaway has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

- Averaged 21.0 points on 26-of-35 (.743) shooting, as well as 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game in three GLVC wins
- Was a perfect 7-of-7 from the field with 18 points, two rebounds and a block against Missouri S&T
- Scored a career-high 28 points on 12-of-13 (.923) from the field, including a buzzer-beating jumper, while adding six rebounds, four steals, two assists and one block against Rockhurst
- Finished week 7-of-15 (.467) with 17 points, seven rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal against William Jewell
- Was named second-team All-GLVC in his second season at rival Saint Joseph’s College in 2016-17 before transferring to UIndy last year
- Earns his first career Player of the Week award
