Lewis University junior sprinter Allie Heinzer and University of Indianapolis senior thrower Katie Monk have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Wednesday.

  • Snapped her own shot put record with an NCAA automatic qualifying standard of 15.59 meters
  • Ranks first in the GLVC in the weight throw and shot put, along with first and fifth, respectively, in NCAA Division II
  • Has recorded NCAA automatic qualifying marks in both events this year
  • Seventh career GLVC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor (2/15/15, 1/23/18, 1/30/18, 2/7/18, 2/13/18, 2/20/18, 1/30/19)
