Missouri S&T’s Eaf Redden (Gunter, Texas) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week.

Redden, a senior third baseman for the Miners, helped his club to a 3-1 record on the weekend. He finished the week, 9-for-14 (.643) at the plate with four RBIs, four runs scored and an .857 slugging percentage.

He guaranteed a Miners split in their series with Henderson State on Friday by going 3-for-5 with three runs and a RBI in S&T’s 18-10 extra-inning victory.

Redden returned on Saturday to help S&T sweep Truman State. In the opening game, a 9-1 Miners’ win, he was 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and a run scored.

In the 5-4 win in the nightcap, Redden was 2-for-3 with a double and RBI.

S&T is 3-1 overall and will look to continue its three-game winning streak with a four-game homestand against Augustana this weekend.

Other top performers in GLVC last week included Drury’s Joe Rohlfing, Indianapolis’ Chase Kittinger, Northern Kentucky’s Evan McDole, Saint Joseph’s Sean Estand and Southern Indiana’s Wes Fink.
