Lewis University freshman distance runner Ashleigh Macleod and University of Indianapolis senior thrower Hilary Paxson have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Wednesday.

• Covered 800 meters in 2 minutes, 10.86 seconds, good for 11^th in an NCAA Division I field
• Effort puts her second in the GLVC and sixth in NCAA Division II, while also ranking third all-time in school history
• Earns first career GLVC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor
