McKendree University senior sprinter Tyree Allen and senior pole vaulter Monte Wolke have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Wednesday. 

MEN’S INDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Major: Sociology
Team Competition:  4^th/5 Teams, 113.5 points, St. Louis Collegiate Indoor Classic

• Achieved two lifetime indoor personal bests in the 60 and 200 meters
• His time of 6.97 seconds in the 60 meters is tied for third in the GLVC
• Effort of 22.17 – converted to 21.78 – in the 200 meters is second in the GLVC and just off the NCAA provisional mark of 21.74.
• First career GLVC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor
• Last McKendree Indoor Track Athlete of the Week: DeMontez McCray (1/22/19)
