William Jewell College senior catcher/utility player Tyler Murphy and Rockhurst University junior pitcher Jack Eisenbarger have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week in the sport of baseball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

• Went 11-for-19 (.579) at the plate last week, with two home runs, five walks, 11 runs scored and five runs batted in
• Registered a hit in each of his five games, while posting multiple hits in four contests
• Slugged at an .895 clip, posting 17 total bases in 24 plate appearances
• Completed Rockhurst doubleheader 5-for-7 with six runs scored and an RBI
• Opened Illinois Springfield series with a 1-for-4 effort that included a solo home run
• Finished final two games against UIS 5-for-8 with a home run, four runs scored and three RBI
• Earns his first career Player of the Week award
