Lewis University freshman sprinter Jada Hoffman and Bellarmine University senior jumper Yashira Rhymer-Stuart have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday.

Team Competition:  1st, 87 points, Bearcat Classic

 
  • Won the 100 meters with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 11.92 seconds
  • Effort ranks first in the GLVC and 23rd in NCAA Division II
  • Was also a member of the winning 4x400-meter relay team that set a GLVC-leading and NCAA provisional time of 46.83, good for 18th nationally
  • Finished the day earning second place to her teammate in the 200 meters with a time of 25.18, which ranks second in the league
  • First career GLVC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honor
