Lewis University sophomore distance runner John Partee and University of Indianapolis senior thrower Austin Hogan have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Tuesday.
 
MEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
John Partee, Lewis

Major: Exercise Science and Movement
Team Competition:  3rd, 47 points, Bearcat Classic

• Won the 800 meters by three-and-a-half seconds with a time of 1 minute, 51.50 seconds 
• Effort ranks him tops in the GLVC and 13^th in NCAA Division II
• Later came back to anchor winning 4x400-meter relay with a split of 48.6 seconds, helping the Flyers to a victory by nearly three seconds.
• First career GLVC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honor
