Maryville University senior outfielder/pitcher Cody Klotz and Lewis University senior pitcher Pete Hamot have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week in the sport of baseball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

  • Went 10-for-20 (.500) at the plate with three home runs, one double, nine runs batted in and six runs scored
  • Posted a slugging percentage of 1.000 on the week with 20 total bases, while posting three multi-hit efforts
  • Went 2-for-7 at the plate with a home run in twinbill at Quincy, while pitching six innings with four hits, two walks and seven strikeouts in the opener
  • Opened Truman series 4-for-6 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored
  • Returned in second game to go 2-for-4 with an RBI double and one run scored
