Lewis University sophomore distance runner Ashleigh Macleod and McKendree University junior long sprinter and jumper Tsitsi Mahachi have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the Conference office Wednesday.

  • Won the triple jump by more than a foot with a distance of 12.32 meters
  • Effort set a new personal best and GLVC-leading mark
  • Leap met NCAA Championship provisional qualifying standard and ranks seventh nationally
  • First career GLVC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honor
