Quincy University’s Daniel Entzeroth (St. Charles, Mo.) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week.
Entzeroth, a sophomore rightfielder for the Hawks, helped his club post a 6-1 record last week and in the process hit .458 and posted a 1.042 slugging percentage.
On the week, he was 11-for-24 with 19 RBIs, seven runs, six doubles, a triple and three home runs.
In Quincy’s 8-2 win over Wheeling Jesuit on Tuesday, Entzeroth went 2-for-4 with six RBIs a run scored, a double and home run.
In the four-game series with Kentucky Wesleyan over the weekend, Entzeroth went 8-for-15 (.571) with 13 RBIs, four doubles, a triple and two home runs.
He went 3-for-5 with five RBIs and two runs in Quincy’s 14-7 win in the series opener on Saturday.
Entzeroth followed that effort with a 4-for-7 showing with eight RBIs, three runs and two home runs in the doubleheader sweep on Sunday. In the nightcap, an 11-10 win for the Hawks, Entzeroth connected on a two-run, walk-off home run in the eighth.
This season, Entzeroth is batting .359 with 20 RBIs, 10 runs, eight doubles and three home runs.
Quincy (10-9) will travel to Rockhurst for a four-game series this weekend.
Other top performers in GLVC last week included Bellarmine’s Adam Chester, Drury’s Joel Potts, Indianapolis’ Ben Sondgeroth, Rockhurst’s Ryan Porter and Southern Indiana’s Chad Werry.
