Lindenwood University sophomore quarterback Cade Brister and junior linebacker Drew Seers, along with McKendree University senior return man Matt Cole, have earned Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

• Returned a third-quarter kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown and finished with 121 kickoff return yards
• Broke the team’s single-game record for all-purpose yards with 284 yards
• Recorded a team-high seven catches for 155 yards with TD receptions of 46 and 54 yards
• Marked the second-straight week with a three-touchdown performance
• Also notched four tackles on the day
• Earns his second career Special Teams Player of the Week award (11/5/18)
