Lindenwood University sophomore quarterback Cade Brister and Missouri S&T senior defensive end Tershawn Wharton and senior kicker Ben Styron have earned Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

• Led Miners with eight tackles, including six solo stops
• Recorded 2.5 quarterback sacks
• Returned a fumble 81 yards for a touchdown, his second return for a score in his career and S&T’s fourth defensive touchdown this year
• Helped S&T’s defense hold SBU to 272 total yards and secured its first shutout since Oct. 1, 2016
• Earns his third career Defensive Player of the Week award (10/30/17, 9/10/18, 11/4/19)
• Last Missouri S&T Defensive Player of the Week:  Stefan Camplin (9/23/19)
