Lindenwood University sophomore quarterback Cade Brister and junior defensive tackle Drew Harlow, along with University of Indianapolis redshirt sophomore kicker/punter Paul Buisman, have earned Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Team Result: 37-31 overtime win vs. Missouri S&T

 
  • Recorded 11 tackles, including a career-high 2.0 sacks
  • Had a strip sack on the first S&T possession to set up a Lions’ touchdown
  • Broke up a pass at the line of scrimmage on the final drive of regulation
  • Registered an assisted tackle on third down in overtime, leading to a turnover on downs one play later
  • Earns his first career Defensive Player of the Week award
