University of Indianapolis graduate student Berenice Cleyet-Merle and Maryville University freshman jumper Serena Williams have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in women’s indoor track and field, it was announced by the league office Thursday.

Team Result: No Team Scoring, Hoosier Open
  • Won the Mile with a time of 4 minutes, 47.60 seconds, which broke the school record by 4 seconds
  • Currently ranked second in the GLVC and NCAA Division II
  • Earns first career Indoor Track Athlete of the Week award
