Lewis University senior distance specialist John Partee and Truman State University junior thrower Bobby Campbell have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in men’s indoor track and field, it was announced by the league office Thursday.

John Partee, Lewis
Sr., Distance, Plainfield, Illinois
Major: Exercise and Movement Science
Team Result: No Team Scoring, Jimmy Grant Invite

• Set new school record by three seconds in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2 minutes, 27.7 seconds
• Also ran a leg on the GLVC-leading 4x400-meter squad
• Earns third career Track Athlete of the Week award (2/13/19, 2/19/19)
• Last Lewis Indoor Track Athlete of the Week:  John Partee (2/19/19)
