University of Indianapolis graduate student Berenice Cleyet-Merle and junior thrower Katrinia Hopkins have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in women’s indoor track and field, it was announced by the league office Tuesday.

• Finished second in the weight throw with a heave of 17.25 meters – a personal record that ranks her first in the GLVC and 24^th in NCAA Division II this season
• Placed third in the shot put with a heave of 13.48 meters
• Earns her first Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor
