University of Indianapolis graduate student Berenice Cleyet-Merle and junior thrower Katrinia Hopkins have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in women’s indoor track and field, it was announced by the league office Tuesday.

Team Result: No Team Scoring, UIndy Collegiate Challenge
 
  • Placed third in the 400 meters in 58.68 seconds and returned to win the 800 meters in 2 minutes, 13.13 seconds
  • Efforts rank her third in the GLVC in the 400m and first in the 800m, which also rates second nationally
  • Earns second career Indoor Track Athlete of the Week award (12/19/19)
