University of Indianapolis junior distance specialist Jacob Stamm and Maryville University freshman jumper Don Jackson have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in men’s indoor track and field, it was announced by the league office Tuesday.

Team Result: No Team Scoring, John Craft Invite
  • Placed first in the high jump with a new school record mark of 6 feet, 10 ¾ inches (2.10 meters), which met the NCAA provisional qualifying standard and tops the GLVC charts this season
  • Finished second in the long jump with a school record leap of 23’6” (7.16m), which also paces the GLVC this season
  • Earns first career Indoor Field Athlete of the Week award
