Truman State University redshirt senior guard Brodric Thomas has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Team Result: W, 84-70 at Quincy; L, 76-79 at Southern Indiana; W, 82-65 at McKendree
 
  • Averaged 23.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.3 steals over three games last week
  • Opened the week with a 28-point effort on 10-of-16 shooting against Quincy, adding nine rebounds, six assists and two steals as well
  • Tied a season high with five three-pointers in win over Hawks
  • Netted 20 points and pulled down nine boards in loss at USI, but also had two blocks to move into eighth place in school history with 73 career swats
  • Concluded week with 22 points, eight rebounds, a season-high eight assists, and season-high four steals against McKendree
  • Earns third career Player of the Week Award (11/25/19, 12/2/19)
