Lindenwood University sophomore distance specialist Ben Stasney and Bellarmine University senior vaulter Ben Stone have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in men’s indoor track and field, it was announced by the league office Wednesday.

Major: Elementary Education
Team Result: No Team Scoring, IWU Midwest Classic
  • Placed first in the pole vault with a NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 5.00 meters
  • Clearance rates first in the GLVC and 11th in NCAA Division II
  • Also placed second in the 60-meter hurdles with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 8.20 seconds, which ranks him first in the GLVC and 19th nationally
  • Earns second career Indoor Field Athlete of the Week award (1/16/20)
