Lindenwood University sophomore distance specialist Ben Stasney and Bellarmine University senior vaulter Ben Stone have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in men’s indoor track and field, it was announced by the league office Wednesday.

Team Result: No Team Scoring, Principia Relays

• Recorded three first-place finishes last week in the mile, distance medley relay, and 4 x 800-meter relay
• Crossed the line first with a mile time of 4 minutes, 17.71 seconds, which ranks third in the GLVC
• Ran the 1,200-meter leg of the DMR with a converted time of 10:15.85 that rates first in the GLVC
• Helped Lions to a win in the 4 x 800-meter relay with a time of 8:19.15
• Earns program’s first Indoor Track Athlete of the Week award
