University of Indianapolis graduate student Berenice Cleyet-Merle and junior thrower Katrinia Hopkins have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in women’s indoor track and field, it was announced by the league office Wednesday.

Major: Political Science
Team Result: No Team Scoring, Hillsdale “Wide Track Classic”
  • Finished first in the weight throw with a heave of 17.61 meters
  • Placed second in the shot put with a toss of 14.08 meters
  • Both efforts met NCAA Division II provisional qualifying marks and rank first in the GLVC
  • Earns her second Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor (1/21/20)
