University of Indianapolis graduate student Berenice Cleyet-Merle and junior thrower Katrinia Hopkins have repeated as the Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in women’s indoor track and field, it was announced by the league office Wednesday.

Team Result: No Team Scoring, GVSU Big Meet
  • Won the weight throw with a heave of 17.77 meters
  • Also captured gold in the shot put with a toss of 14.37 meters, which marked a personal best and improved her position to 16th in NCAA Division II
  • Earns her third Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor (1/21/20, 2/12/20)
