University of Southern Indiana freshman sprinter Zach Barton and Southwest Baptist University senior pole vaulter Trenton Finley have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in men’s indoor track and field, it was announced by the league office Wednesday.

Major: Exercise Science
Team Result: No Team Scoring, PSU Gorilla Classic

• Finished fourth in the seeded pole vault section with a school-record clearance of 5.15 meters (16’10 ¾”)
• Effort ranks first in the GLVC and fifth in NCAA Division II
• Earns fist career Indoor Field Athlete of the Week award
• Last Southwest Baptist Indoor Field Athlete of the Week:  Tahje Tolliver (12/11/19)
