University of Southern Indiana freshman sprinter Zach Barton and Southwest Baptist University senior pole vaulter Trenton Finley have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in men’s indoor track and field, it was announced by the league office Wednesday.

Major: Engineering
Team Result: No Team Scoring, GVSU Big Meet

• Finished third in the 60-meter final with a time of 6.77 seconds in just his second collegiate meet of his career
• Currently ranks first in the GLVC and 10th in NCAA Division II
• Earns first career Track Athlete of the Week award
• Last Southern Indiana Indoor Track Athlete of the Week:  Titus Winders (2/12/20)
