Drury University senior outfielder Riley Herron and Quincy senior pitcher Riley Martin have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week in the sport of baseball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

• Threw eight shutout innings against the Tritons, including six innings of no-hit ball
• Struck out nine batters and allowed just two hits and four walks
• Dropped his ERA to 2.70 over 20.0 innings in three starts this year
• Earns his first career Player of the Week award
