University of Indianapolis’ Andrea Horban is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Horban, a senior for the Greyhounds, tossed the hammer 47.57 meters for a seasonal best on Friday at the Mike Poehlein Invite. On Saturday, she had three top five finishes including a provisional qualifying toss in the women’s shot. Horban concluded the competition with tosses of 14.30 meters in the shot and 42.53 meters in the discus.
