Missouri S&T’s Peter Hollenbeck is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Hollenbeck, a junior Miner, soared high in the pole vault, and landed himself a spot in the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Hollenbeck’s automatic qualifying height of 5.05 meters was also a personal best. This achievement ranks him third on the national list and first in the conference.

Other top performers in the GLVC last week included Bellarmine’s Elliot Mattingly and Saint Joseph’s Tadd Hettinger.
