Indianapolis, Ind. – The University of Indianapolis’ Miranda Loney (Winchester, Ind./Winchester) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. The senior claimed a top-ten finish at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational hosted by Loyola University Chicago on Sept. 30.
Loney finished tenth out of 360 runners at the 5K event in a time of 18:51.
Her efforts helped the Greyhounds capture fourth place in the team standings, ahead of several strong regional teams. UIndy was the top GLVC team in a division containing 33 schools and posted a team score of 128.
UIndy will next compete at the Border War Invitational hosted by SIU Edwardsville on Oct. 7.
