INDIANAPOLIS – Drew Harris from Northern Kentucky University is named Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Traveling to Cincinnati for the Queen City Invitational, the Norse placed 5th out of 9 teams in the event.
Harris finished 3rd in the race, running a time of 15:34, just seconds behind first and second place finishers. This is the second consecutive week Harris has been honored runner of the week.
The Norse are currently ranked eighth in the Midwest Regional Polls and travel to Kenosha, Wisconsin next weekend to run in the Midwest Open.
Other top performers last week in the GLVC included Bellarmine’s Jordan Parayil and Maryville’s Travis Matthews.
