INDIANAPOLIS – Lewis University’s Kathryn Hague has been awarded the Great Lakes Valley Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week. Hague helped the Flyer’s to a second place finish in the college division at the Bradley Open.

For the second week in a row, Hague has led the pace and has placed first in her races. This week she ran ahead of 109 other competitors in the 5K race, finishing in a time of 15:09, just ahead of teammate Amanda Porter.

 
Hague placed 2nd in the overall division, following right behind the University Division winner, Katie Nowak from Bradley.
 
Lewis is currently ranked 8th in the Midwest Regional Poll. Lewis will take two weeks off before traveling to St. Paul, Minnesota for the Roy Griak Invitational.
 
Other top performers in the GLVC last week included Northern Kentucky’s Jerrica Maddox and Maryville’s Ashley Lane.
