Abby TracyINDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Indianapolis’ Abby Tracy (St. Louis, Mo./Rosati-Kain) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week. The sophomore goalkeeper held UIndy’s opponents scoreless on the week and helped the Greyhounds advance to the semifinals of the GLVC Championship Tournament.

Tracy stopped five shots in UIndy’s 2-0 win over Ferris State on Oct. 18.

She returned in the GLVC Quarterfinal match against Northern Kentucky to hold the visiting Norse scoreless through the double overtime contest. She collected two saves in regulation and through the overtime periods and stopped two penalty kicks in the shootout to allow the Greyhounds to advance, 5-4.

Tracy made a diving stop on Northern Kentucky’s first penalty kick attempt to provide the Greyhounds the momentum in the shootout. She added a key stop later in the shootout by stopping a tough shot toward the left post, enabling the Greyhounds to secure the shootout victory.

On the year, Tracy has posted a 0.68 goals against average and has a save percentage of .787. She has notched eight shutouts on the season, the most for the Greyhounds since 1999.
