Saint Joseph’s College junior Melissa Buche (Lowell, Ind./Lowell) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

 

Buche finished second in the high jump at the Mike Lints Alumni Open hosted by Grand Valley State on Friday. She broke the school record in the event by recording a mark of 1.72 meters. The effort is ranked first in the GLVC and also holds third on the national performance list.

 

Saint Joseph’s will be traveling to Kenosha, Wisconsin this weekend to participate in the UW-Parkside Ranger Open on Friday.

 

Other top performers in the GLVC last week included Indianapolis’ Courtney Kuzmicz.
