Lewis’ Scott Barnas (Oak Lawn, Ill. /Moraine Valley C.C.) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Barnas, a senior for the Flyers, took second-place in the shot put at the Ranger Open hosted by UW-Parkside on Friday. He posted a NCAA provisional qualifying mark with a toss of 16.80 meters. Barnas is currently ranked first on the GLVC performance list and fifth nationally in the shot put.
 
Lewis is back in action Saturday when they travel to Eastern Illinois for the Illinois Intercollegiate.
 
Robinson competed at the Iowa State Open over the weekend and recorded a NCAA provisional qualifying mark in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.17. He also helped the Miners to a GLVC-leading time of 3:22.66 in the mile relay.
 
Missouri S&T returns this weekend at the Fazoli’s Invitational hosted by Missouri Southern.
 
Other top performers in the GLVC this week included Indianapolis’ Matt Royer and Saint Joseph’s Kaleb Thompson.
