Missouri S&T’s Jared Anders (Quincy, Ill./Quincy) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

 

Anders, a senior for the Miners, cleared the NCAA D-II automatic qualifying mark of 16-06.75, earning first place in the pole vault last weekend at the Fazoli’s/Baymont Invitational hosted by Missouri Southern State. He currently leads the GLVC and is ranked second on the national performance list.

 

S&T returns to action next weekend in Jacksonville, Ill. at the Dr. Jim Green Classic.

 

Other top performers in the GLVC this week included Indianapolis’ Terrell Franklin, Lewis’ Scott Barnas, and Drury’s Tory Groover.
