Indianapolis’ Kathleen Watson is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

 

Watson, a freshman for the Greyhounds, took third place in the shot put on Saturday at the Indiana Wesleyan Track & Field Invitational by posting a season-best mark of 12.23 meters.  She also finished ninth in the weight throw with a final mark of 13.44 meters.

 

UIndy returns to action this weekend at the Division II Challenge hosted by the University of Findlay.
