University of Missouri-St. Louis senior catcher Katie Bartlett (Des Moines, Iowa/Roosevelt/Grinnell) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Softball Player of the Week.

Bartlett guided the Tritons to a 3-1 record on the weekend by hitting .571 with six RBIs. She was 1-for-3 with a home run in the Tritons’ 4-3 loss to Union on Friday and then helped UMSL rebound from the loss with a 9-0 victory over William Woods in the nightcap. In the win, Bartlett was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

She returned on Saturday to help the Tritons earn a pair of victories. UMSL topped Union 6-5 in the opener with Bartlett delivering a 2-for-4 effort with two RBIs. She closed the weekend with a 3-for-4 performance with a RBI and double in UMSL’s 15-5 win over William Woods.
 
For the week, Bartlett was 8-for-14 (.571) with six RBIs, four runs and a slugging percentage of .857.
 
UMSL (3-1) will head to Ouachita Baptist to meet six different teams this weekend.
 
Other top performers in GLVC last week included Drury’s Sadie Ball, Maryville’s Ashley Reed and Northern Kentucky’s Jessica Farris.
