Lewis' Kathryn Hague (Chicago, Ill. / Mt. Assisi Academy) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week. 

Hague competed in the Kent State Tune-Up on Saturday in hopes of running a faster race and earning an automatic berth to the 2010 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. Competing against several Division I participants, she earned a fifth-place finish in the mile with a time of 4:54.76, just 36 hundredths of a second shy of the automatic berth time. She is currently second in the GLVC in the mile and ninth in the NCAA.
 
Lewis will next be competing at the GLVC Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
 
Other top performers in the GLVC last week included Indianapolis’ Valerie Wagner and Kierra Allen.
