Quincy University junior pitcher Torie Bunzell (Utica, Ill./Lima-Peru) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Bunzell led the Lady Hawks to a pair of victories at the Missouri Southern/Pittsburg State Invitational over the weekend and in the process recorded her fourth career no-hitter. She made three starts at the event and posted a 2-1 record with a 0.47 earned run average. Bunzell struck out 42 batters in 22 innings of work with the lone loss coming via the international tiebreaker in the eighth inning to Central Missouri on Saturday.

Qunicy beat Truman State 5-4 on Friday as Bunzell surrendered just three hits and one earned run. She struck out 15 batters in the win.

In the 2-1 loss to Central Missouri, Bunzell allowed six hits and no earned runs, while striking out 12. She capped the week with the no-hit performance in a 6-0 win over Fort Hays State on Sunday. Bunzell had 15 strikeouts in the victory.
 
Quincy (2-3) will next host Hannibal-LaGrange on Tuesday.
